Kay has been part of the FSJ Family since July 2012. Kay is the go-getter of the team, she is our organizational guru and she helps us get ready for all of our classes and events.
Here is a little bit about her...
I have done many different crafts over the many years as a
crafter. I started out painting ceramics because it was inexpensive at the time
and my girls and I could paint together for some family time together.
Then after Nursing school I started to Tole Paint for some relaxation after a busy day at the Cardiology Office. I worked as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for 18 years in a very busy office and I would give my special patients little crafty things I made to put a smile on their faces when they were so ill. My co-workers would buy my creations for gifts for their family and friends.
After retirement I designed my own craft room in my home and I spend many hours card making and scrapbooking and I keep the High Desert Monthly Card and Scrabooking classes (using Fun Stampers Journey Products) organized and on time for our many scrapbooker and card making friends.
